Sahrdaya Institute of Management Studies has set an example for the society by organizing charity events such as blood donation, hair donation, and clothing collection under the social service program "Nanma Charity Drive 2023" on Oct 12,2023 . Alloor Grama Panchayat President Shri. K.R. Jojo inaugurated the program and spoke about the importance of blood donation. SIMS Executive Director Rev. Fr. Dr. Jino Johny Malakkaran presided over the function. Director Dr. Dhanya Alex welcomed the gathering. Jeevan Samrithi's Manager Mrs. Maria Chacko extended her greetings. Dr. Akshaya R., a junior resident in transfusion medicine at Thrissur Jubilee Medical College, gave an awareness class on blood donation. More than 150 students and teachers donated blood. Many students also donated their hair. Sahrdaya Institute organized the charity drive in collaboration with Thrissur Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur Amala Medical College, and Jeevan Samagra, Kochi. Faculty Coordinator of 'Nanma' Mr. Joseph Bastin, Student Coordinators Amal T.S. and Sreehari V.S. led the programs.
