Merin Prakash is a dedicated academic professional currently pursuing her PhD in Commerce at Bharathidasan University through St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli. Her research focuses on human resource management, emphasizing innovative and impactful studies. she holds an MBA in Finance from Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kalady, under Mahatma Gandhi University (2012), an M. Com from Calicut University (2016), and an MPA in Public Administration from IGNOU (2018), showcasing her strong interdisciplinary foundation.

With over 5 years of teaching experience, she has served as an Assistant Professor at prestigious institutions such as St. Mary’s College, Thrissur, ELIMS College of Arts and Science, Thrissur, and Kerala Agricultural University, where she contributed to the MBA Agribusiness Management program. Her one year of industry experience as a Financial Assistant at the Kerala State Seed Development Authority complements her academic career, providing her with practical insights into finance and management. She is also an accomplished researcher who has presented her work at esteemed institutions, including IIM Kozhikode. She is a Life Member of the Indian Economic Association (IEA) and an active member of the Indian Association of Social Science Institutions (IASSI).
